Find Your Perfect Fit
Every Norloom T-shirt is made to order—for your unique shape, not a standard size. Use one of the two measuring methods below to create a fit that feels truly yours.
Use Your Best-Fitting T-Shirt
(Recommended for most customers: fastest, most accurate)
If you already own a T-shirt you love the fit of, this is the easiest way to recreate it.
You’ll Need:
- A T-shirt that fits the way you want
- A flat surface
- A tape measure
Steps:
- Lay the T-shirt flat on a table. Smooth out wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
- Measure key points:
Chest Width: Measure across the chest, just under the armpits.
Shoulder Width: From shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
Body Length: From the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
Sleeve Length: From shoulder seam to sleeve cuff. - Compare these measurements with the ones you see on the product page and modify your custom size if need be.
- We recreate the exact fit — or tweak it based on your preference (slimmer, looser, longer, etc.).
Why This Works Well:
- Perfect if you already know what fit you enjoy
- Mirrors the feel of your favourite tee
- No need to measure your body
- Ultra-low chance of mistakes
A Note on Fabric & Fit: Our T-shirts are made from a premium cotton-elastane blend with natural stretch. This means your Norloom tee will feel slightly more flexible and form-adapting than a 100% cotton garment with no stretch.
If you’re taking measurements from a non-stretch T-shirt you already own: Expect your Norloom tee to feel a bit more comfortable and less rigid in the chest, shoulders, and arms. This is normal and part of the intended fit. Make sure to take this into consideration.
Use Your Body Measurements
(Ideal if you want a refined or improved fit over your current clothes)
This method works best if you don’t already own a T-shirt that fits how you’d like or if you want something tailored more precisely.
You’ll Need:
- A flexible tape measure
- A mirror (optional)
Steps:
- Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms. Keep it level and comfortable—not tight.
- Shoulders: Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other across the back.
- Sleeve: With your arm relaxed, measure from shoulder point to where you want the sleeve to end.
- Length: From the highest shoulder point down to your preferred hem position.
Pro Tips:
- Keep the tape measure flat and snug, but not tight.
- If you’re between numbers, round toward the fit you prefer (slim vs. relaxed).
- It’s normal for left/right measurements to differ slightly
Why Choose Body Measurements:
- Best for body-specific tailoring
- Perfect if you want a more sculpted or proportional fit
- Great for people with build or posture variations
- Helps fix issues like tight shoulders, long torso, wide chest, etc.
